Hi there! This is Gabriel. I’m a recent CS graduate from Florida International University. My interests span multimodality, reinforcement learning, explainability, and language model reasoning. Previously, I’ve interned at Google and Nvidia, working across LLM post-training and infrastructure for robotics. I’ve also worked with Prof. Sumit Jha to study vision-language-action (VLA) models for embodied tasks.

I’m originally from Brasília, Brazil; and I love to learn new languages (currently speak: 🇧🇷🇺🇸🇫🇷🇪🇸, learning: 🇨🇳🇩🇪)! On the side, I also teach lectures in ML for students at FIU.
